Sunday's Message, November 20, 2016

A Sermon From A Pilgrim Preacher portrayed by Dr. Jim Meek

Sunday You'll get to hear William Brewster preach during the 10:30 am service! Our pastor, Dr. Jim Meek, will portray the preacher for the pilgrims in order to give us a firsthand account of the Thanksgiving story.

Children will stay in the service as Brewster helps us relive the events that shaped our holiday and our nation.

Invite everyone you can for this unforgettable event .

Also we will meet at Northminister Presbyterian church at 6 pm for a Thanksgiving Community Service. See you there!

With Love in Christ,
Dr. Jim Meek

SERVICE is an important part of our Ministry at El Camino Baptist Church. How Can I Get Involved? Our Ministry leaders are ready to talk to you.

"Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in the view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God  -  this is your true and proper worship" (Romans 12:1-2).

Thanksgiving Community Service

Northminister Presbyterian Church
3235 Pope Ave • Sacramento, CA 95821
November 20
6 pm

The Arden-Arcade churches are putting on a community Thanksgiving service November 20th at 6:00 pm at the Northminister Presbyterian church at 3235 Pope Ave., Sacramento. It is our hope and desire that we will come together and worship as the body of Christ, in love and unity.

We are also collecting items to distribute to those within our community that are in need. Remember to bring coats, socks, blankets, and tarps, etc. We will take a special offering that will go to fund our local community homeless outreaches.

We thank God for all He is doing in our community of churches in the Arden-Arcade area and we hope for a unity of spirit as we work together in cooperation to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Strategic Prayer Renewal Service

El Camino Baptist Church
280 El Camino Ave
Sacramento, CA 95821
December 4
6 pm

As a Senior Pastor for over two decades, Daniel Henderson brought prayer-based revitalization to several mega-churches.

Today he is dedicating his full-time efforts to help congregations across the country experience renewal and turn-around as he speaks to thousands each year at conferences and prayer events.

He is President of Strategic Renewal, which exists to ignite personal renewal, congregational revival, and leadership restoration for Christ’s glory.

Help us welcome Daniel Henderson Sunday, Dec 4th for an evening of renewal & prayer.
Many from our surrounding community will be joining us for this time.

Daniel has been with us twice before and has led an awesome service each time.  Don't miss this opportunity to join with others in a time of concerted prayer.

I hope we'll be good hosts by showing our support.

We will have some light refreshments in the foyer for before and after the service.  Prepare to fellowship with believers from other churches in our community.
