We are often drowning in depression, anxiety, bitterness and worry. Let’s start today seeing everything differently.
Kathy Lee Gifford is an Emmy-winning actress, singer-songwriter, author and former “Today” host. She just wrote a book called, “Nero and Paul: How the Gospel of Grace Defeated the Ruler of Rome.”
When Kathy first started working for “Good Morning America” she was fumbling around as she interviewed Paul Newman. After looking into those blue eyes she apologized, saying it was her first interview. He said, “That’s okay. I’ll wait.” They became close friends. At a fund raiser she asked him how he was. He said, “Honey, I’m 80-something, and at this age, I’m still here, I have a pulse, so I’m good.”
So, every morning as Kathy wakes up, she thanks the Lord. She says, “It’s an attitude of gratitude.”
This last year she’s had three surgeries, and she goes to physical therapy three times a week. But every day she goes out on her terrace and thanks God.
This Easter let’s determine that we’re going to start having an attitude of gratitude. After all, Jesus is risen, and if God be for us, who can be against us (Mathew 28:6; Romans 8:31)?
Please bring as many people as you can to Sunday School at 9:00 and worship at 10:30 on Easter and help us develop an attitude of gratitude.

CATCH THE VISION!
Please join our seminar at El Camino Baptist, on “Catch the Vision!” This is a must for our ministry leaders, but all are invited.
It will be held on April 25, at 10:00 am in the Fellowship Hall. There will be a few snacks to begin the class.
We will study Jesus’ vision statement for the church and how it applies to El Camino, to you and your family, and how it fits with your Spiritual gifts, background, passions and ministries.
We all need to be on the same page as a church, so please come, pray for us, and be praying for what God will teach us!

WEDNESDAY NIGHT DINNER SIGN-UPS
We need help with our Wednesday Night Meals for Spring/Summer 2026. By volunteering for at least one Wednesday night, we can insure no one is doing all the work.

You will shop (the church will pay the bill), preparing a meal for about 70 children and adults, and clean up. Betty Allen will meet with you and help you understand the commitment.
