OUR BELIEFS

About the Bible

We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God.

About God

We believe in one God who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

About Humanity

We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have fellowship with him but became alienated in that relationship through sin. Therefore, people are incapable of reclaiming a right relationship with God on their own.

About Salvation

We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Salvation is offered freely to those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. We believe that the saved will not lose that relationship with Christ.

About the Christian Life

We believe all Christians should live for Christ and not for themselves and that life is a journey where growth and spiritual maturation occurs as we daily depend on God's Spirit.

About the Church

We believe that the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The members of the church are those who have trusted by faith the finished work of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving him, helping his people grow in grace, and by making him known to the lost world.

About Baptism & the Lord's Supper

We believe that God has given us two ordinances to observe as His church. Baptism is by immersion in water following one's surrender to Christ and is symbolic of new life. The Lord's Supper is a symbolic remembrance of the sacrifice Christ has made so that we may be ransomed, through the eating of bread & drinking of the fruit of the vine.
